Water Programs - Intern

As a Water Programs Intern, you’ll provide organizational and administrative support to keep our Water Programs team operating efficiently. You'll support work in grants management, data management, donor reporting, and more.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• You’ll gain firsthand insight into managing international programs and partnerships by learning and utilizing our grants management database.
•You’ll digest, synthesize, and copywrite vital information about our work for internal use.
• You'll research the international development sector and help to maintain the organization's main statistics.
• You'll support the team in various administrative tasks that keep the shop running every day.
• You'll assist with special projects as needed.

SKILLS
Your attention to detail is impeccable.
You have razor-sharp attention to detail and strong writing skills, and you know the littlest nuance can have a huge impact. You can break down complex information in a way that is understandable to a non-technical audience. 

You’re curious and a critical thinker.
You find joy in diving head-first into large reports and datasets to uncover details that capture people’s attention. You relish the chance to own  your projects – you're confident and capable of using limited information to come to an informed solution. 

You’re flexible and a quick responder.
You like special projects and learning new things. The problem we’re trying to solve as an organization is dynamic, and each day brings fresh and exciting challenges. You can react quickly and efficiently when called upon to change direction.

You have experience and education to back you up.
You're an undergraduate student or recent grad. You also have previous administrative work under your belt, preferably for a non-profit organization.

COMMITMENT
You’ll start in August or September and commit until December. We’ll need you for 20 hours a week, ideally including Wednesday afternoons. This position is unpaid, but we're happy to work with your institution to provide academic credit.
