Director, Finance Transformation

Finance Transformation Director – Operational Excellence 
Help CFO’s and Finance Executive’s elevate their role through innovative strategies, planning and tactical execution, and operational support. 
 
As a Director, you are expected to contribute to the firm's growth and development in a variety of ways. 
 
1.       You will be responsible for engagement management:
●        manage day to day interactions with executive clients and sponsors
●        lead engagement planning and budgeting
●        mobilize and manage engagement teams
●        define deliverable structure and content
●        facilitate buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client
●        direct on-time, quality delivery of work products
●        manage engagement economics 
●        manage engagement risk
 
2.       You will be expected to participate in Business Development:  
●        develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients
●        organize and lead pursuit teams
●        participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process
●        contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies.
 
3.       You will be expected to be versatile and willing/able to wear both Finance operational and advisory hats as required
 
4.       You will be expected to contribute to Practice Development & Eminence:
●        develop practical solutions and methodologies
●        develop "thought ware" and "point-of-view" documents
 
5.       You will be responsible for people development:
●        performing the role of counselor and coach 
●        provide input and guidance into the staffing process 
●        actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities
●        provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices.
 
 
Qualifications 
Prerequisite
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with strong undergraduate academic record
• Big 4 advisory experience in Finance Transformation or similar
• Minimum of 12 years total professional experience with a mix of transformation, finance, and operations 
 
 
 
Technical
• Expertise in Finance Service Delivery, Finance Operations, FP&A, Finance Strategy, or EPM
• Experience leading or managing teams and change initiatives (especially in a project management
role)
• Experience with budgetary responsibilities related to projects or resources
• Professional competence in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)

Preferred Skills:
• Experience in Digital Finance: CFO Analytics, Finance Cloud, SAP S4 Hana, Blockchain,
and/or Robotics Process Automation
• Advanced degree in business (e.g., MBA) from a top tier program
