Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Lakewood, CO


We are looking for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our Case Management team in the Denver metro area!

Previous Experience Desired:
  • Identification of unique strengths, abilities, preferences, desires, needs, expectations, and goals of the child/youth and family. 
  • Identification of needs for crisis prevention and intervention include: 
    1. Cause(s) of crisis and triggers that could lead to crisis.
    2. Physical and behavioral health factors.
    3. Education services.
    4. Family dynamics.
    5. Schedules and routines. 
    6. Current or history of police involvement.
    7. Current or history of medical and behavioral health hospitalizations.
    8. Current services.
    9. Adaptive equipment needs. 
    10. Past interventions and outcomes. 
    11. Immediate need for resources. 
    12. Respite services. 
    13. Predictive risk factors. 
    14. Increased risk factors.

LCSW Duties / Responsibilities:
  • Working with and counseling groups, communities, and individual patients
  • Evaluating client through conversations, interviews, and observations to determine correct testing or examination
  • Referring patients to resources like psychiatrists, treatment facilities, or community services
  • Maintaining good working relationships with support networks, government resources, and community resources

Counselor Requirements and Qualifications
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with patients, colleagues, and community resources
  • Compassionate and caring of all clients
  • Excellent time management skills; organized and able to prioritize
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with multiple clients
  • Able to organize and manage large amounts of files, schedules, dates, and information
  • Calm and cool-headed with a positive attitude
  • Self-directed and self-motivated
  • Comfortable with building personal relationships and dedicated to helping others
  • Empathetic and supportive with mentorship and leadership skills
  • Hold license to perform in state
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Good interpersonal skills and communication skills
  • Ability to work well on a team
