Foreman

  • Foreman:

    Assist in supervision of staff to assign, coordinate, and participate in the work of an assigned crew at customer location. Responsible to support management directives and schedules and assist in direction of staff to support said schedules. Foreman must be an accomplished Journeyman Millwright and welding experience a plus.

    Work Performed:

    Interpret blueprints, schematics and diagrams and facilitate to staff for assignment completion. Coordinate installation and work efforts with management and assign work according to prepared schedules. Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with establish customer standards or required specifications and guidelines, and in support of our company quality standards. Notify management of any problems or delays in facilitation of schedules and activities for timely resolution. Assist in coordination of equipment movements or other events which will interrupt the normal work flow.

    Train and instruct crew personnel and monitor work performance for accuracy and completeness to ensure compliance with work objectives. Initiate equipment or material requests as required. Responsible to initiate and maintain good housekeeping practices in all work areas. Responsible to always set a good example for staff members to develop a strong work ethic.

    Performs duties and direct labor objectives of Journeyman II position. Must have valid drivers license.

    Perform other related duties not specifically listed, but incidental to the work described herein.
