Carlyle Financial is a mortgage lender offering a comprehensive suite of common-sense jumbo home loan products from our partnerships with local community banks, credit unions, and specialty regional banks throughout California. With offices at One Market Plaza in the heart of San Francisco and our Beverly Hills branch on South Beverly Drive, we serve markets across Northern and Southern California. Our ability to close loans in-house as well as broker through multiple channels affords us a strategic advantage and adds value for our clients.
We’re looking for an experienced and top-performing Business Development Manager to create opportunities and drive mortgage business into the company.
Responsibilities
- You will be our liaison with real estate offices, builders, CPAs and HR departments — establishing key relationships and connecting our loan officers to these direct referral sources.
- You will assist our sales team with coordinating special events, open houses, and other marketing opportunities as well as attend these events to promote Carlyle Financial and offer co-marketing and co-branding suggestions.
- You will be asked to maintain a CRM pipeline of referral partnerships, in order to better pinpoint opportunities for future business as well as keep in contact via email blasts, direct mail, testimonial requests etc. in collaboration with our marketing and sales teams.
- Your ideal schedule would include at least two days in our office per week, where you are collaboratively strategizing and planning your next steps with the leadership team, communicating your successes, and seeking feedback on areas of opportunity. The remaining time will be spent in the field.
How do you know if this is you?
- You’ve worked in real estate, residential lending, or commercial lending and are familiar with the terminology of the mortgage industry.
- You are in your element when connecting with others, in person and on the phone.
- You are skilled at projecting a charismatic, professional persona in a variety of situations.
- You are able to facilitate conversations in any situation with your upbeat, positive personality.
What we’ll expect from you:
- You will be required to quickly become familiar with our suite of services, extensive product line, and how we add value to the mortgage experience for our clients.
- Your ideal schedule would include at least two days in our office per week, where you are collaboratively strategizing and planning your next steps with the leadership team, communicating your successes, and seeking feedback on areas of opportunity. The remaining time will be spent in the field, executing your strategy.
