Our Biology Development Team is a scientifically-curious and driven group that utilizes cutting-edge synthetic biology methods such as CRISPR/CAS9 to engineer stem cells for “off the shelf” therapies. Specifically, our technologies enable stem cells taken from any given donor to be used as “universal transplants” for any given recipient, thus bypassing the age-old need to meticulously match donors and recipients according to their unique immune phenotypes.
The ability to harvest and process cells from a variety of healthy donors for transfer to unmatched recipients turns current models of cell-based therapies on their head and opens an untold number of doors to new therapeutic applications. Also, our Biology Development Team works on proprietary methods to more rapidly engineer stem cells so that they are endowed with valuable disease-fighting characteristics, such as the ability to actively and specifically target cancer cells throughout the body.
These technologies have led to cutting-edge collaborations with pharma associates to produce the next generation of CAR-T cells. We are seeking dedicated, driven job candidates to bring their problem-solving capabilities, vision, creativity, and know-how to our efforts. As part of our Biology Development Team, you will be a key player in these ground-breaking projects.JOB DESCRIPTION :
