Director of Sales

Canpango is seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead our domestic and international sales teams. We are looking for a proven sales professional who is an energetic leader, self-motivated, has exceptional team building and communication skills.  Emphasis is on representing the organization from a sales leadership perspective, managing the current team, attracting additional sales staff and achieving monthly revenue targets.   We have an active partner channel, sales engineering function and strong integration with our marketing department. 

Prior sales management experience, a background SaaS software sales, is required with familiarity with Salesforce a plus. Candidates should be versed in all aspects of sales management , have a desire and track record of sales staff development, experience in the preparation and negotiation of Statements of Work and contracts. 

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Ensures that  an active pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities are cultivated, maintained and closed by the sales team.  
  • Ensures that sales team is aggressively working the pipeline to consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Represent the organization from a sales perspective at industry events, with external relationships and with partners
  • Attract and retain the most qualified sales team possible
  • Establish strong internal team rapport as well as with Salesforce sales representatives and AVP’s
  • Effectively assist sales staff in the identification and qualification of prospects and assist as needed in presenting the most compelling business case for Canpango services
  • Demonstrate service excellence by providing high quality customer service at all times to all internal and external customers.
  • Ensures that all sales and sales engineering staff are properly utilizing all the correct sales tools and systems
  • Maintain complete and thorough understanding of all products, programs, pricing, and procedures.
  • Provide on-going feedback to Senior leadership regarding sales needs and concerns, 

  • A minimum of 5 years of successful complex SaaS software solution selling leadership. International sales leadership is a plus.
  • Proven experience selling to "C" level buyers (CEO, CIO, CFO, Department Directors, etc.)
  • Prior consulting and/or professional service sales experience
  • Salesforce, Partner and Channel sales experience is a plus
  • Ability to travel as needed
