QA Analyst

What’s The Job?
Calendly is looking for a QA Analyst to join our rapidly growing quality team. At Calendly, we strive to think it, build it, ship it - deliver great features to our customers as fast as possible while ensuring the highest quality user experience. You will be responsible for testing new features and functionality within the Calendly platform. You will report to the Director of Quality and will work closely with engineers and product managers in an agile environment. This includes helping define user stories and acceptance criteria as well as testing new feature functionality.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze product requirements and architect test plans
  • Write, validate, and execute test cases
  • Track defects and provide quality metrics
  • Contribute in team sprint planning meetings
  • Take ownership of issues found in production that made it through QA


Requirements:
  • 2+ years of professional experience in a QA role
  • Professional experience testing a SaaS product
  • Knowledge of common testing methodologies
  • High levels of flexibility, personal drive, ownership, and accountability
  • Experience working (and thriving) in a global, fast-paced, distributed, high growth environment
  • Fantastic written and verbal communication skills
  • Impeccable time management skills and an ability to self-direct
  • Four year university/college degree required
  • US Citizen or Permanent Resident (we do not sponsor at this time)


Bonus If You Have Experience With:
  • Automation solutions for large scale projects including unit tests, API tests and functional/GUI tests
  • Continuous integration, deployment and delivery strategies
  • Logging and error monitoring tools (Kibana, Airbrake, Papertrail, etc...)
  • Web-based automation and test automation tools such as Selenium
  • Performance and load testing tools
  • Consumer SaaS applications
