Our Director is a human resources generalist and employee relations pro who will join a passionate group of Insiders who manage human resources, recruiting, payroll & benefits, culture, operations, and facilities. We’re looking for someone who makes bold decisions supported by research, data, and empathy. A skilled communicator, lifelong learner, problem-solver, and someone who believes in promoting employee effectiveness and happiness.
Our team cares deeply about people: how they work best, how they think, what organizational design is most effective, what unleashes people's creativity and passion. The newest member of our team will support the Revenue/Sales group. They should have experience supporting business leaders in building an effective team while growing rapidly. They should be tapped into HR and media best practices, be innovative and analytical, and be dedicated to creating an inclusive culture in which every one of our employees feels welcome and respected and can do their best work.
In addition to a thoughtful and meaningful approach to supporting employees and teams for the Revenue group, it's crucial that this person have the capability and strong desire to work across the People & Culture Team on company-wide programs and initiatives as well as day-to-day tasks.
General responsibilities:
- Partner with Insider Revenue Team leaders to recruit, build, and nurture the most effective teams in the business
- Consult, counsel and provide direction and leadership in people related matters
- Work collaboratively with team members to identify opportunities to drive and support programs that hire, retain and grow the best talent in the industry across all levels and teams
- Be an internal and external champion of our mission and values and open communication across our organization
Requirements:
- A proven leader with experience across HR and culture
- Strong business acumen
- High degrees of emotional intelligence and integrity
- A sense of humor
- Excellent communication skills
- Technical experience designing and building policies, benefits programs, compensation plans, feedback systems, and training programs
- Understanding of federal and state level legal compliance requirements
- Experience partnering with and supporting a diverse team of professionals
- Experience supporting a sales/revenue team in the digital media, professional services or tech industry is a huge plus
