The Position
Bugsnag is growing! We’re looking for an Enterprise Growth Specialist to join our team in San Francisco, CA.

The industry standard for sales development is soul-crushing: the incessant drive to meet activity quotas for calls and emails, often results in a poor brand experience potential customers and a poor employee experience for sales development reps. We’d like to change that.

At Bugsnag, we are looking for a creative and energetic Enterprise Growth Specialist to own new account development and become a key driver of Bugsnag’s growth. This will be a high-impact and highly visible role within the organization. You will become an expert on our buyers, their roles in their organizations, how they make technology decisions, and use that knowledge to develop relationships with key decision makers. Your performance will be measured by prospect responses and meetings booked.

The position reports to the Senior Growth Marketing Manager.

What you’ll get to do:

Account Strategy and Research: 
  • Gain a deep understanding of our enterprise customers and prospects including their organizational goals, structures, motivations, and buying processes
  • Analyze market data to identify new ABM opportunities for Bugsnag
  • Prospect and map out complex enterprise level organizations through research and sourcing
  • Understand specific product applications, recognize prospect pain points, and how Bugsnag can solve them
Writing / Storytelling:
  • Write compelling and provocative emails that elicit positive responses from potential customers
  • Develop messaging for high-impact first-touch interactions
  • Identify areas in the prospecting lifecycle where communications can be tailored and delivered with specificity
  • Support efforts to engage target enterprise accounts through thoughtfully crafted outbound campaigns
Lead Development:
  • Diligently manage inbound lead activity, prioritize high-value leads, qualify active buying interest, and develop opportunities for Account Executives
  • Set meetings with key decision makers and influencers
  • Help evolve our account development process to build an organized, repeatable, and well-defined playbook for internal alignment and market penetration
  • Establish and report on metrics that help refine the performance of these initiatives
  • Consistently achieve and/or exceed qualified opportunity quotas to ensure revenue objectives

Your background and profile likely include:
  • 2-4 years experience in a customer facing role, SDR experience, or experience supporting enterprise account-driven marketing a plus
  • Interest in understanding and impacting various growth levers in a high-velocity SaaS business
  • Ability to improvise, think creatively, and be an enthusiastic problem solver
  • Experience coming up with creative and unorthodox ideas to engage prospects
  • Analytical and data-driven with an openness to change course as needed based on consistent measurement and tracking
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills. If you love writing, this job will spark joy!
  • Curious by nature and excited by emerging and existing relevant technologies. You are an avid learner.
  • A mindset of improving what already works while trying out new ideas and recovering quickly from the small failures
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Bachelor’s degree
