Currently, we are seeking motivated, accountable professional to join our team in the role of Heavy Machinery Mechanic. The position is based primarily in a maintenance shop atmosphere; however, our Mechanics may need to make road calls and perform test drives to adequately service our fleet. Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Perform preventative maintenance on fleet
- Carrying out diagnostic tests and repairs to a variety of vehicles and equipment using modern maintenance practices
- Troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairs of construction equipment
- Ensures all Workplace Safety
- Environmental and National Safety Code Policies and Regulations
- Read diagrams/schematics and manufacturers repair manuals for work procedures
- Lubricate, service, diagnose, repair, assemble, and maintain drilling and various other large construction equipment according to the maintenance schedule
- Timely and accurate diagnosis and repair including computer connection/diagnosis with a machine to identify fault codes
- Maintain accurate records of all service, repair, and other work as required
We are seeking candidates with the following attributes:
- 5-10 years of experience working on various Heavy Equipment
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Dual tickets will be considered an asset;
- Ability to monitor and evaluate problems and organizational performance in order to assess efficiency and effectiveness
- Ability to work outdoors in difficult conditions caused by snow, dust, temperature changes and weather
- Ability to use workplace technology
