Computer Vision Researcher

    This role will lead the R&D efforts at Brizi to scientifically understand the concept of group memories. Your research will contribute to building new product capabilities and extracting insights from imagery data. Focusing on image enhancement, image data mining, stadium mapping, etc…you will get the chance to set the scope and define direction, all the way to driving conclusions regarding your research.

    We are looking for candidates who have proven experience in developing novel computer vision and machine learning algorithms applied to solve real-world problems. We invite you to tell us about your prior research projects in your application!

    • Developing algorithms for image segmentation, object detection, recognition, and tracking
    • Developing new algorithms to solve critical business applications
    • Enhancing the quality of images captured in indoor and outdoor sports venues using software
    • Extracting insights, like emotion, gender, age, and more from images
    • Training and customizing models to work in the context of Brizi applications

    • Well-versed with advanced knowledge of computer vision, image processing, and statistical machine learning, and 3D geometry
    • Proficient in common programming and scripting languages (C/C++, Python)
    • Experienced in development using common computer vision/machine learning libraries such as OpenCV and DLib
    • A PhD graduate or MS with 2+ years of work experience in Computer Science, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Robotics or related technical field
    • Experience in parallel computing, OpenCL, GPGPU is a plus
    • Strong at problem-solving and communication skills, working with Agile/DevOps practices
    • A team player, well-spoken, inquisitive, and energized by new ideas and learnings from others
