About the company:

The company is a venture-backed technology company operating in East Africa and India. They build and deploy cloud-connected points inside local retail outlets, which serve as consumer access points for goods and services delivered in partnership with major suppliers. Their first consumer solution is liquid ethanol cooking fuel, which delivers significant cost savings and quality of life improvements in the multi-billion dollar urban cooking market. In Kenya, this solution is delivered in partnership with Vivo Energy, the company which owns and operates Shell-branded fuels distribution infrastructure across Africa.

About the role:
As ICT Manager, you will lead the company's IT department and lead management of our systems and networks. You will perform both technical and administrative tasks to ensure functionality and efficiency of computer and telecom systems.

What You Will Do
●  Develop and ensure adherence to IT protocols across departments and projects
●  Provide advice on the most suitable software and hardware platforms and technologies
●  Develop and run training sessions on IT systems for internal teams
●  Install, configure, and troubleshoot software and hardware (printers, scanners, phones)
●  Maintain a high level of system and network performance
●  Develop and conduct performance maintenance activities
●  Maintain licenses and upgrade schedules for the company
●  Maintain and update company’s asset register and conduct periodic audits

What You Will Bring to The Company
●  Bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science 
●  5+ years of experience in IT-related roles 
●  Expertise with Google Suite 
●  Experience in network management and help desk support 
●  Understanding of TCP/IP protocols and LAN/WAN configuration 
●  Advanced knowledge of IT systems and applications 
●  Ability to troubleshoot and repair issues 
●  Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
●  Great attention to detail 
●  Excellent organizational and coordination abilities 
●  Certification (CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, etc) is a plus
