About the company:

The company is seeking a driven individual with an interest in building alternative financial infrastructure for frontier markets, hyper-organized and result-oriented to manage a fast-growing team of operations associates.
Working under the guidance of the Head of Strategic Growth, the Partnership Manager is responsible to manage a team of partnership associates/interns to achieve ambitious revenue targets with new segments/types of partners. Within the Partnership team, we focus on bringing in partners that can distribute the company products - BFX API & Over-the-counter Treasury Solutions designed for enterprises to buy/sell FX easier, cheaper and faster.
Location can be in Nairobi, Dakar, Lagos, London or Madrid

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, qualify, pitch, negotiate and close partnership deals that distribute the company’s products and contribute to company revenue and gross profit targets
  • Optimize partnership acquisition operations/processes to minimize time between deal identified and deal closed (contract signed)
  • Optimize partner implementation processes to minimize time from deal closed to revenue generated

Work Experience:
  • 5 to 8 years of working experience in EMEA region
  • Prior experiences in selling FinTech solutions to financial institutions or new segments successfully (clearly indicated contract value - higher the better) in EMEA region or with existing distribution partnerships deal-flow for the company product lines
  • Prior experiences in building and scaling strategic partnership teams remotely
  • Prior experiences / knowledge in FX wholesales operating mode

  • Strategic planning: understand bigger picture of the industry, competition and company, able to shape team strategy and mobilize resources to achieve ambitious targets
  • Business development: able to acquire and maintain C-level relationships, great oral & written presentation, commercial negotiation
  • Critical problem solving: able to find root-cause and find the optimal solutions with balance of speed & feasibility
  • Advanced Microsoft Office and Google Suite Tools skills along with the willingness and ability to become familiar with company-specific sales / project management tools/software (such as Pipedrive or Trello)
  • Advanced Powerpoint / Keynote skills to make executive-friendly presentation materials
  • Language: English & French is must, either Spanish/Arabic is a plus
