At Boundless, we’re breaking down the barriers of the immigration system — and are hiring for an Email Marketing Manager with a proven track record of developing and implementing effective email marketing programs. You will thrive in this role if you obsess over testing and iterating, have a passion for segmenting and developing personas, and would describe yourself as a mix of an analytical, data-driven person who can also be a well-versed copywriter as-needed.
In this role, during your first month you will:
- Learn about the marriage-based green card and naturalization processes so you develop a deep understanding of what our customers are going through
- Understand our current customers and potential customers through customer feedback sessions, customer phone calls and shadowing our customer-facing teams
- Take stock of all of our current and past marketing emails and draw conclusions about what is/is not currently working
- Learn our email marketing and data analysis tools
Within three months, you will:
- Analyze our email marketing tools and determine whether we need to revise or add to them
- Develop the segments you would like to target with an email marketing program, focused on our marriage-based green card and naturalization products
- Prioritize the initiatives you think will have a meaningful impact and own the execution and analysis of those tests
- Copywrite, edit, and analyze email marketing campaigns
Within a year, you will:
- Partner with the content team to identify and execute new content newsletter opportunities
- Work with the product team to prioritize engineering initiatives that will unlock more opportunities for segmenting and testing
- Develop and test email marketing programs for all new products we launch in the next year
- Take on new marketing channels as needed, such as organic or paid social

For this position, we are looking for someone who has a track record of developing email marketing into a channel that drives conversions — and is comfortable both tactically and strategically around email marketing.
