.Job description:
We are a thriving collection of highly skilled finance professionals, based in the UK and South Africa. We are building an ambitious, entrepreneurial and highly professional business, providing finance solutions to innovative, disruptive and fast-growing SMEs. Growing rapidly, we have opened regional offices in Manchester, Bristol and Cambridge, and we are doubling the size of our team in Cape Town.
We have directly raised several funds in the private-debt alternative credit space during the past six years, from some of the largest UK pension funds and European investors. We have created an organisation that will scale up seamlessly and are now looking to add to our team a driven, networked fundraiser who is looking for a true business-development role.
This person will have expert knowledge of the UK and international institutional investment market, gained as a fundraiser, investor or consultant. They will show that they can:
• Deliver against clearly outlined sales targets and objectives
• Develop new relationships, increasing our geographical spread
• Qualify potential investors in line with FCA requirements and compliance
• Lead new investors through onboarding, handing them over seamlessly to our investor-relations team
• Get the best out of existing relationships
• Keep ahead of every change to market conditions and regulations
We bridge a gap between traditional investors and disruptive SMEs, so we are looking for demonstrable enthusiasm for this area. The person we select will fit naturally into our organisational culture and will be an ambassador for our brand.
This is a sales role and will be remunerated accordingly, with attractive incentives.
