As JRNI's Solutions Consultant, you will play a vital role in effectively solving our clients scheduling needs by becoming an expert on the JRNI product and the broad industry use cases we are serving. Our clients are primarily top North American Banks, Retailers, and Government bodies. You will provide our clients with exceptional service throughout the sales, requirements, scoping, and implementation stages to ensure a successful delivery of the product solution. You will understand business requirements at multiple levels of detail and will play a consultative role in meeting requirements within existing product assets or the leveraging of JRNI’s open API platform. A motivated and outgoing individual will have the opportunity to shape both client solutions and the JRNI product in this exciting opportunity.

Key responsibilities:
  • Becoming an expert in the JRNI product and broad industry use cases we are serving
  • Engaging in a consultative sales process, responding to RFIs/RFPs and playing a key role in showcasing product functionality to potential enterprise clients
  • Facilitating workshops with key enterprise client stakeholders to identify business requirements – eliciting, capturing, analyzing and documenting requirements, (both functional and nonfunctional), and steering clients to leverage existing product assets
  • Driving requirements at multiple levels of detail, documenting scope for subsequent delivery
  • Collaborating with Technical Architects to propose technically sound and scalable solutions that leverage the core platform and meet agreed business requirements
  • Contributing to the Statements of Work, owning responsibility for the definition of In/ Out of Scope deliverables, and ensuring Risks/Assumptions/Issues/Dependencies (RAID) are identified to manage client expectations
  • Variable support of client services teams during implementation and delivery of solution
  • Identifying and translating common product feature requests with contribution to product design requirements based on knowledge of user requests
  • Advocating product best practices throughout multidisciplinary teams, leading regular internal product training sessions to ensure consistent knowledge

Skills & experience:
  • Deep understanding of Software as a Service, technically integrated solutions and enterprise software requirements
  • Experience as a key Enterprise vendor participant or consultant in complex software implementations
  • A background of gathering, defining and documenting software requirements
  • Ability to simplify complex problems, processes or projects into component parts and explore and evaluate them systematically
  • Strong technical mindset, including knowledge of web based applications, knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript  and APIs a bonus, but not essential
  • Knowledge of various Project Management methodologies, in particular Agile and Waterfall
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
  • At ease working in a fast-changing environment
  • Self-motivated with solid organisational skills in order to work to challenging deadlines
  • A hunger to work for a fast-growing, international company with the need for travel as required
  • Degree in a technical field of study or equivalent experience and training
