JOB DESCRIPTION- EVENT COORDINATOR - BAY AREA
POSITION TYPE: Full Time
TRAVEL: Minimal travel outside of the territory and overnight can be required.
JOB SUMMARY: The Event Coordinator is responsible for the seeking out events that fall in line with company values, as well as the logistics, execution and management (including PT staff) of said events within their designated territory. In addition, they will assist the Regional Event Manager with cultivating new events that are Boochcraft organized.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: 4 year degree preferred (Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a relative discipline) or 2+ years of relevant field experience.
- Experience: Entry Level - Experience in Event Coordination a plus.
- License or Certification: Owns a vehicle and valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Management: Able to effectively manage staff and demonstrate strong communication and execution skills.
- Specialized Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Google suite, CRM, mobile apps as well as necessary project management software.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to safely lift moderately heavy equipment (a minimum of 60 lbs.) move 100 lbs safely and operate equipment within safety standards. Ability to work inside and outside in all weather conditions for periods up to 10 hours. Ability to bend, twist and kneel frequently. Must have manual dexterity. Endurance to work an entire shift on foot.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Ensure a safe working environment for the staff they manage.
- Maintain a professional work environment that fosters a collaborative team spirit with respect for each individual.
- Keep the Regional Events Manager and Event Director informed about important developments in real time.
- Maintain clear lines of communication with the Marketing Team, all management staff as well as all team members.
- Represent Boochcraft in a professional manner and maintain an orderly appearance. This includes, but is not limited to, cleanliness (personal and in their physical spaces), conduct (both on and off the clock) and communication (both written and verbal) all while maintaining a high standard for themselves in every aspect of their role as they represent the consumer facing image of the Company.
- Seek out event opportunities (craft beer festivals, food festivals, tasting events, etc.)
- Cultivate new events that are Boochcraft organized such as pairing dinners, special release parties, etc that resonate with the Boochcraft values and target demographic.
- Execute all promotional events by ordering and picking up product from local distribution centers, housing event gear and/or maintaining a storage unit provided by the company, maintaining and caring for all event equipment including, but not limited to, tents, signage, jockey box, lines and CO2 tank, keeping an accurate inventory of and maintaining adequate stock levels for all marketing materials, driving the event van for all events, assisting in the management of a small event staff to execute events.
- Assist in any promotional events arranged by the local area Sales Rep when needed.
- Assist Event Director in any needs for given territory, including product drops and meetings.
- Arrange equipment logistics and co-manage event calendar in local territory.
- Oversee and schedule event staff for all events in local territory.
- Report all progress and outreach in designated documents.
- Look to improve the event experience from the customer perspective. We want the event experience to be interactive, educational and fun. Any resources that are needed to make this happen should be immediately communicated to the Regional Event Manager so that we can always provide a unique and memorable event experience.
- When needed, assist the sales team in onboarding new accounts including, but not limited to restaurants, bars, liquor stores and grocery stores.
- Continue his/her education as needed to fill gaps in technical and managerial knowledge.
