Project Manager

Bobby Redd is looking for a full-time Project Manager to join our growing studio. The Project Manager will lead retail and architectural interior design projects from design through completion. Must be a great communicator both verbally and in written form. This person must have the ability to work under pressure, multitask, help set expectations, and meet deadlines. The ideal candidate is passionately organized with a close attention to detail. The Project Manager will serve as the link between the studio and the job site; working out of our offices and on job sites in NYC and around the country. 
 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Management of multiple ongoing design and construction projects 
  • Coordination and on-site management of vendors, employees, and contractors
  • Communicating all on-site changes and adjustments to necessary parties
  • Oversee the preparation of design and construction documents
  • Acting as a liaison between design team and outside vendors/contractors
  • Communicating with clients on-site, via email, and on the phone. 
  • Create and organize files, assets, and schedules to facilitate workflow.
  • Manage project timelines and communication, both internally and externally.


REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager or similar position. 
  • Experience working with vendors, including fabricators and general contractors
  • Knowledge of construction methods and building materials
  • Prior experience on a construction job site
  • Ability to read and understand site plans and construction documents
  • Experience creating and managing project schedules
  • Experience creating and managing project budgets
  • An understanding of construction permitting processes
  • Experience with SketchUp, Rhino, and/or AutoCad.
  • Experience with Dropbox and Google Drive, meticulous file organization.
  • Eligible to work in the United States
