We are looking for an exceptional Senior Account Manager to take a new position at Big Spaceship.

The Senior Account Manager must be both good with clients and project management, be hands-on, have a strong organizational sensibility, and be 100% committed to delivering fantastic creative ideas and work that stays on-objective, matching up to client challenges seamlessly. You must feel comfortable working with individuals within our client’s organizations and be able to work collaboratively across our agency disciplines (strategy, creative, design, UX, analytics, and technology).
You must be able to understand project management and marketing planning processes and ensure that client deliverables and expectations are not only met, but exceeded. You must be strategic, creative, detailed and organized.
ROLE + RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with and support the account leads on the business, providing account management and project management support.
- Document, distill and interpret client feedback to communicate next steps and deliverables to the team
- Assume the role of select day-to-day client contacts - develop and cultivate strong relationships with the client team
- Able to present and/or speak to the work being created
- Problem solve day-to-day account issues as needed
- Devise short-term and long-term brand, experience, social and digital strategies in partnership with the team
- Have a finger on the pulse of client’s brand, digital presence, social trends and channels
- Demonstrate micro and macro knowledge of the client’s business by continuous research of brand, landscape, and competition
- Function as a key part of the team, responsible for the development of the highest quality of creative and design work
- Share knowledge of the client/business/brand
- Demonstrate strong strategic and creative judgment
- Create & manage deliverable timelines for projects
- Manage overall workstream status document and deliverable tracker & work with Resource Manager to identify team member availability
- Manage & delegate tasks across multiple disciplines - design, copy, analytics & strategy
- Owner of notes, expenses and other admin tasks for the account
- Ensure smooth running of finances, contracts, and administrative systems
- Consistently communicate relevant updates to account and production leads and manage up as needed
- Innate curiosity and entrepreneurship with the ability to operate both macro and micro - both leading strategies and rolling up your sleeves to get the job done
- Understand when escalation is needed and act accordingly
SKILLS + EXPERIENCE:
- 3+ years of Account Management experience in a creative agency
- Experience in sports and/or financial services marketing is strongly preferred
- Integrated or digital experience is a must with at least 1-year experience delivering/managing integrated social marketing campaigns
- Success in contributing strategic solutions and POVs that engage consumers and build brands in digital and social channels
- Possess excellent project management skills and share information proactively and efficiently
- Be solutions-oriented - focused on recommending solutions, rather than simply raising red flags
- Proven track record of being an involved brand steward and strategic and tactical business partner to clients
