We have built a cloud-based SaaS platform for the Life Sciences Industry that transforms manufacturing operations with the use of Artificial Intelligence and IoT technologies. Our team is looking for enthusiastic leaders to join an early start-up with recent backing of significant investor funding and a lot of market traction.

As a Sales Engineer at Bigfinite, you will be the technical expert who develops and leads product demonstrations, identify and communicate the value of our solutions, and explain complex technical information to prospective and existing clients.  We are seeking a resourceful, creative, and excellent communicator who is equally comfortable presenting to manufacturing operators and to the management of multinational pharma and biotech companies.   


Responsibilities:
  • Create and deliver powerful situational product demonstrations validating how the product solves specific prospect problems and demonstrating the uniqueness of our value proposition
  • Partner with our sales team and solution engineers to help provide discovery and insights into our customers’ needs and requirements, to map out solutions and demonstrate Bigfinite’s value and technical capabilities
  • Employ creative approaches and excellent client-facing communication skills to overcome obstacles, nourish stakeholder engagement, and present complex concepts in an easy to understand manner to both business and technical minded audiences
  • Enable Sales team with training programs and tools, roll out new product releases and updates, and build and maintain demonstration environments
  • Provide feedback to Sales, Product, and Engineering teams on what works and what doesn't about new features and the real needs of customer operations and use of the Bigfinite platform
  • Drive effective responses to vendor qualification requests and RFP’s


What You Need to Succeed: 
  • 4+ years of sales engineering experience in enterprise software; the perfect candidate will have proven experience selling into top 30 Pharma/BioTech, manufacturing solutions, as well as SaaS / big data
  • Demonstrated expertise in understanding customer requirements and relevant solutions with solid technical skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with the hunger to succeed; act with a startup mindset: have urgency, grit, be adaptable to change, and a team player
  • Know how to ask the right questions and truly listen, with outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, as well as work effectively in a team environment across multiple geographies and timezones
  • Willingness to travel on a frequent and regular basis, per business needs


Nice to have:
  • Good understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts and principles, as well as cloud platforms (AWS), SaaS
  • Basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning algorithms, and knowledge in statistics  
  • Detailed knowledge of communication protocols (MQTT, HTTP, TCP/IP, Proxy, etc), programming languages and SQL
