Talent Acquisition Specialist – Software/Tech Recruiting

We are growing rapidly due to our success and have a lot of positions to fill so we need a rock star Talent Acquisition Specialist for our office in Reston, VA. We need someone who is experienced in hiring cutting edge software/tech talent for clearance jobs (TS/SCI) in the Washington DC area. This person must be highly motivated and possess some basic HR skills/experience. This position will report to our Head of Talent Acquisition.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· 4+ YEARS of experience MINIMUM recruiting in the Tech/Software Industry.
· 4+ YEARS of experience MINIMUM sourcing and hiring candidates with active government clearances up to TS/SCI.
· Possess outstanding candidate interview skills! You must be able to organize and run an interview that cuts to a candidate's real abilities.
· Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and work on multiple projects simultaneously, able to meet tight deadlines.
· Experience with basic HR skills including employee onboarding, offboarding, helping organize occasional employee events in conjunction with our HR and leadership team, as well as routine checkups with new hires to make sure their employee experience is positive.
· Experience with high-volume hiring needs and recruiting for hard to fill roles.
· Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Bachelor's Degree with a preference for majors in Business, Marketing, Psychology, Human Resources, or equivalent experience.
· US Citizenship required. The selected candidate must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
· Screen potential candidates within the context of multiple positions, ensuring candidates meet the position requirements as well as fit with the team and company.
· Creatively identify and recruit qualified candidates through traditional and non-traditional sourcing techniques including networking, cold calling, complex searches, social media, referrals, job boards, and job fairs.
· Partner with hiring managers and internal teams to identify position requirements and understand hiring needs.
· Identifying, setting up and attending various job/career fairs, hiring events and industry-specific networking events to represent BigBear, Inc. and further recruiting efforts. These events will occasionally take place outside of normal work hours including evenings and (possibly/rarely) weekends.
· Represent BigBear, Inc. and its values in all interactions with candidates.
· Participate in the interview process and close offers.
· Create a positive process for all candidates, including timely interview scheduling, timely feedback and next step communication.
· Utilize the company’s applicant tracking system (Google Hire) for requisition and candidate management.
· Responsible for assisting with OFCCP and EEO federal regulation compliance with respect to recruiting.
· Other duties as assigned.
