Office Manager

THE ROLE:
 
Beyond Pricing is looking for a super star Office Manager. Are you someone who loves to work with people, has an enthusiastic attitude, and is a pro at organization and coordination? Then we are looking for you!
 
Beyond Pricing’s Office Manager will be the first person that employees and guests meet when visiting Beyond Pricing. You are the cultural champion performing a wide range of administrative, HR, IT, recruiting and office support activities to facilitate the efficient operation of our company. The ideal candidate will love the startup world and go above and beyond the call of duty to support us in creating a great place to work. 

 RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
  • Office Environment / Administrative -- Manage daily operational projects that support a work environment where employees can thrive. This include managing space planning, furniture, tidiness, vendor coordination, and conference room appearance / functionality. Support CEO and other Exec Team members as needed with administrative needs including scheduling meetings, helping with HR functions, managing office budget and more.
  • Recruiting & Onboarding Support – Help support our Recruiter with scheduling, managing the Candidate Experience, as well as New Hire Orientation & Onboarding.
  • Culture & Events - Organize and plan company events such as lunches, happy hours, holiday parties, and conference travel.
  • IT Support - Provide basic help desk support by setting up computers for new hires and solve basic technical issues for employees.

  • Resourceful & Proactive: you are a “can do” problem solver that proactively seeks solutions to existing problems and predicts future problems before they happen.
  • HR & Ops Focused: you are interested in learning the craft of HR, Culture, and Operations in a global start-up environment. 
  • Professional: take pride in your work, have a polished presence, strong communication skills, the ability to work with sensitive information, and adapt to multiple personality types in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Technical: you are computer-savvy, comfortable setting up computers and able to learn independently.
 
REQUIREMENTS:
 
  • 2+ years of experience in related field
  • Excellent communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills
  • Very detail oriented and proactive nature
  • Ability to multi-task and coordinate several efforts simultaneously
  • Strong ability to prioritize and work both independently and with groups
  • Demonstrated flexibility and creative, entrepreneurial attitude
  • Curiosity for constant learning and process improvement/optimization
  • Previous experience with, and strong interest in Apple software and products is a must
  • Ability to manage Executive calendars, coordinate board meetings, company events etc.
  • University degree or equivalent experience

Beyond Pricing is an automatic pricing system for vacation rentals. Our software has priced over $1b in bookings made on sites like Airbnb and Homeaway. We are building tools for property managers that were previously only available to commercial airlines and hotels. 
 
We were founded in 2013 by a commercial airline pricing consultant and a former YC founder. We are already profitable, have grown revenue 3x year-over-year, and have raised $3.5M from top-tier investors
