Sales Development Representative - Athens/Atlanta

Our growing “Super Star” Sales Team at BeyondPay will develop and nurture relationships with HR and payroll professionals, strategic partners, networking groups and internal and external referral sources. By building these relationships selling becomes an easy task when combined with our white glove services and best in the industry technology including time & labor management, human resources, payroll, employee benefits and much more.

How much does a Sales Development Representative make?

Salary will vary based on experience - First year Sales Development Reps make between $31,200 and $35,000 per year plus a generous incentive plan and an Excellent opportunity to advance.


What education and experience will I need?

A High School Diploma is required.  High volume, cold calling experience is a plus but not required (we love training new employees).  The ideal candidate should be extremely self-driven, energetic and motivated to increase our sales and of course hungry to advance in their career.

What will I do?

  • Understand all Sales and Lead Generating initiatives, follow all marketing campaigns including Social Media posts
    (Getting on the same page, this is where the fun begins) 

  • Work with the Sales Manager to determine the best Leads to contact
    (This is what we call team effort and focusing )

  • Qualify leads with a goal to generate new sales opportunities
    (Connecting with a lot of people by phone, email and doing a lot of research)

  • Maintain a high volume of daily calls and emails to generate appointments
    (Did we say lots of phone calls and emails?)

  • Proactively follow-up with all Leads
    (Do you see a trend? More Calls and Emails – Sometimes a Lead needs a little push)

  • Schedule quality appointments with Sales Representatives
    (All customers matter, but some ARE better than others)

  • Document all communication with leads and opportunities in Salesforce
    (This is a huge timesaver down the road)

  • Work closely with Sales Manager and Marketing to discover ways to generate leads
    (We encourage thinking outside of the box)

  • Gain a clear understanding of BeyondPays Service first business model and Learn about our Workforce Ready HCM technology
    (We are in the business of service, technology is our tool)

  • Stay up to date with Workforce Ready system releases
    (Ahhh. the newest thing, everyone loves this)

  • Follow  changes in the industry
    (Change is the only constant)


What should I be good at:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong Organizational Skills
  • Ability to build relationships and influence others
  • Have a strong level of comfort maneuvering Software including comfort using Google products and social media
