The Berkshire Eagle - Journalist Internship
Would you love a journalism internship with a locally owned newspaper that's reinvesting in its people as well as its print and web products?
At The Berkshire Eagle, our objective is this: Become the finest community newspaper in the United States. To make that happen, we're looking to host the best journalism interns who are eager to learn and ready to contribute. This paid internship lasts 10 weeks during the summer. The internship is open to prospective interns interested in writing for our news, sports and/or features departments.
Students who are majoring in journalism and/or work at their college or university newspapers are eligible to apply for this competitive internship. When applying, include three writing clips, a cover letter explaining why you want to be a professional journalist, and your resume. Letter of Reference from your college adviser or journalism professor is optional. All material except your resume can be attached together in the cover letter field below. Wages are $440/week for 10 weeks for full-time work.
