Job Responsibilities:
- Design the overall user experience for Retail 3.0 across one or more mobile, web and store platforms
- Document, design, develop, and deliver workflows, user interfaces, and related assets for web and mobile applications
- Engage with multiple partners, including product managers, engineers, business stakeholders and other designers throughout the implementation cycle
- Convey design solutions through various methods including, but not limited to, hi-fidelity mock-ups and prototypes
- Be able to conceptualize and develop prototypes, and experiment quickly
Required Skills:
- 3-8 years of experience in UX design
- Experience crafting online shopping experiences
- Understanding of common software development practices
- Ability to build elegant, maintainable solutions to complex problems
- Ability to translate thoughts into design using Sketch/XD, Invision or tools of your choice
- Degree in HCI or design, with an emphasis on user experience, interaction design, and/or visual design
Preferred Skills:
- Good sense of system characterization and identification of technical requirements
- Holistic thinking—how the design will scale in the future and across platforms
- Strong problem solving skills and the ability to identify feasible alternatives and freeze on the optimal choice of designs
- Ability to work in fuzzy and complex environments
