Job Description: Social Media Associate 
 
Reports To: Media Supervisor 
 
Status: Full Time Employee 
 
Job Summary 
 
The person holding this position is responsible for enhancing the company’s social media presents by assisting with the setup, management and reporting of organic and paid social media campaigns as directed by the Media Team Lead.  The incumbent is required to coordinate marketing strategies with company designers and media team members. 

Job Responsibilities 

·        Adhering to all company policies and procedures 
·        Setup, management, and reporting of paid and organic social media campaigns across the company's social media channels 
·        Strategize and generate engaging content across the company's social media channels 
·        Create and Manage Social Media Calendar 
·        Actively engage target audience with posts, drive traffic by publishing campaigns and news surrounding upcoming company events 
·        Demonstrate knowledge of social media best practices (organic and paid) 
·        Monitor social media projects to ensure it stays on-budget and perform in accordance to established goals. 
·        Aid with case studies highlighting results from successful social media campaigns as needed 
·        Research new social media channels and stay current with industry trends 
·        Work with Media Team to communicate reporting and insights 
  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment by following company policies
  • Working with the media team to develop a course of action for all platforms
  • Working closely with the graphic designers to produce the best voice for social media
  • Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
  • Maintains quality service by complying with organization standards
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications
  • Knowledge of the product and entity so that one can respond and engage to comments
  • Knowledge of link testing on social networks
  • Updating social media reports, social listening, and answer Quora questions
  • Knowledge of Graphic Design and Adobe suite
  • Basic web design knowledge
  • Perform other duties as needed 
Requirements 

·        1-2 years’ experience in social media management 
·        Bachelor’s degree in either communications, Marketing, Business, or equivalent experience 
·        Experience with social media organic platforms and ad platforms which include, but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, and other popular mainstream platforms 
  • Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
·        Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability 
·        Entrepreneurial minded with the ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects at the same time 
·        Strong written and verbal communication skills with a mind for problem-solving 
·        Must have strong interpersonal skills to foster client, vendor, and internal relations 
·        Proficient in SEO best practices 
·        Experience managing a Social Media calendar using HootSuite or Buffer 
·        Fluency in English (Spanish a plus) 
 
Preferred qualifications: 
  • Durable Medical Equipment experience 
  • 1-4 years’ marketing experience
  • Experience in graphic art and design
