Job Description: Logistic Technician
Reports To: Director of Operations

Job Summary
The candidate for this position is responsible for planning, coordinating, warehousing, distribution, forecasting, and customer service for Barber DME. The position requires the candidate to maintain the company’s logistics systems and perform logistics daily operations. Processes orders and perform order fulfillment. Responsible for making sure supplies, stock, materials, packages, and/or products are processed through the delivery and/or warehouse system efficiently and safely. Insure outgoing mail and packages are appropriately packaged and labeled. Processes company mail outs to patients and other business entities.

- Assist in tracking shipments for Military Mommies program
- Add tracking numbers to the “Breast Pump Log 2019” for Military Mommies program
Performing inventory transactions in Brightree
- Receiving shipments
- Assisting in Month-End Inventory Count adjustments
- Transfers
- Adjustments
- Transaction Purchases
- Receiving purchase orders
Transporting inventory to and from Fort Belvoir
Maintaining Chantilly Inventory
Performing Month-End Inventory Counts for Chantilly
Placing orders with the VP of Sales
Travel as needed
Qualifications Required:
- At least an associate degree in logistic management or equivalent is preferred. A High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory
- One years’ experience with a pharmacy or wholesale distributor in a capacity relating to the dispensing and distribution of, and record keeping of prescription drugs – preferred but not required
- Must be a strong communicator, have excellent written, presentation, oral communications and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to think creatively and strategically, have excellent judgment and can work in a changing environment
- Fluency in English (Spanish a plus)
- Must possess a valid driver’s license issued by the State in which you reside
Preferred qualifications:
- Durable Medical Equipment experience
- 2 years’ experience in Home Health Industry or Retail
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or related or equivalent experience in HME
