*This role is not a remote position. Applicants must reside or plan to reside in the Los Angeles area. It is an in-office role Monday-Friday.
 
Job Summary
 
As an HR Generalist, you own the customer experience for Bambee clients from day 31 onward. You will be the first HR contact after the initial onboarding process and work with clients to get them through their strategic roadmap. You will advise clients as well as drive usage of Bambee’s platform, and customer satisfaction.
 
Through your relationship with the client, you will identify needs and help to develop the Bambee platform as we grow. This is a unique opportunity to take your HR expertise and stellar client service skills to help build HR offerings for small businesses around the country.
 
Job Duties
 
  • Provide guidance and expertise to address complex HR issues, including discipline and termination procedures, policy development, and employee relations concerns.
  • Manage 150+ accounts simultaneously.
  • Drive client usage by training clients on platform and regular checking on usage reports. Follow up with clients on their usage.
  • Work with assigned clients and identify the risk signs to ensure client retention.
  • Proactively reach out to clients on a monthly basis with value added messages and content.
  • Train and educate clients on Bambee’s products and services. Includes: managing employee folders, policy creation and implementation, e-signature features, when to call Bambee HR Manager, etc.
  • Assist our clients in maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations by evaluating their current processes and making recommendations for updated policies and processes.
  • Manage inbound ad hoc requests from client base by utilizing HR Best Practices.
  • Provide HR coaching and guidance to clients in areas including, but not limited to: employee relations, terminations, corrective action plans, performance plans, custom policy creation/implementation, etc.
  • Demonstrate deep subject matter expertise on complex human resources topics such as multi-state labor law compliance, wage and hour laws, and changing employment regulations.
  • Manage HR compliance workflow for clients and assure they are 100% compliant with documents and processes.
  • Establish a trusted advisor relationship to ensure client satisfaction and colleague support.
 
Job Requirements & Qualifications
  • Knowledge of and execution of Account Management best practices, including, but not limited to, proactive outreach, response time management, overcoming objections, etc.
  • Solid foundation in HR disciplines including employment law compliance and multi-state regulations.
  • Knowledge of complex HR topics such as leave of absence, wage and hour guidelines and employee relations.
  • Knowledge of and ability to apply excellent client service and consultative practices.
  • Knowledge of and ability to apply HR best practices.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work to ensure timely, effective, and efficient delivery of services.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • 2+ years of deep generalist knowledge in an HR role.
  • Bilingual Spanish a plus.
  • College degree preferred.
  • SHRM-CP/SCP and/or PHR/SPHR Certification are a plus.
  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Suite, Gmail and Google Docs preferred
