Are you a great communicator and researcher who can easily identify and connect potential customers to the Sales team. Do you find efficient calling produces leads more quickly than relying on email alone? Balbix is looking for a customer-focused Senior Sales Development Representative (SDR) who enjoys having live conversations with prospects and is motivated to be a key partner to the Sales and Marketing teams. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of how to identify, qualify and set sales appointments with the right prospects that lead to closed deals and happy customers.
- Prospect by thoughtful research, cold calling, leveraging existing MQLs and running of email campaigns to build opportunities that lead to new business.
- Product knowledge in enterprise IT infrastructure, ideally networking and security, with an understanding of which leads/roles should convert to opportunities.
- Ability to qualify potential customers and set appointments with decision makers that are accepted by the outside Sales team.
- Continually track all sales leads within Salesforce and ensure information is reported to the appropriate team members on a timely basis.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Exec Leadership to continually enhance the lead generation process and find new methods for improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
- 1 year or more in a similar role.
- Willingness to learn from mistakes and adapt quickly to changes.
- Excellent communications skills both verbal and written.
