Main Objective of the Position 

The Human Resource Officer provides assistance and facilitates human resource processes. This role administers employee health and welfare plans and acts as a liaison between employees and insurance providers. This position resolves benefits-related problems and ensures effective use of plans and positive employee relations. The  Human Resources Officer makes that certain plans are administered in accordance with Jordanian Labor Law and Legal regulations. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance HRMS, onboarding, building capacities, payroll and end of employment. 
 
Role and responsibilities 
1.      Implement Avertra’s HR systems and procedures at the 
         national level.
2.      Ensure adherence to Employment Guidelines and other Avertra’s policies
3.      Ensure compliance with the Jordanian labor law.
4.      Regular HR analysis and reports.
5.      Personnel management and Records management. 
6.      Training, support, control and development of HR teams.
7.      Ensure a safe and standardized filing of personal documents in all offices.
 
 
Specific responsibilities 
  • Staff development and capacity building focusing on     
         newcomers.
  • Support in the recruitment processes ensuring adherence to 
         the minimum standards.
  • Administers insurance plans, including enrollments, changes and end of employment. 
  • Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
  • Responsible for data/file management processes related to new hire and termination process across all related databases for all personnel.
  • Assists with the preparation of the performance review process.
  • Assists with recruitment and interview process. 
  • Schedules meetings and interviews as requested.
  • Files documents into appropriate employee files.
  • Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
  • Coordinate all new hire orientation/ inductions activities/logistics related to the scheduling and preparation of new hire materials, overseeing checklists for all required tasks necessary to onboard new employees and consultants.
  • Administer and support staff with HR-related issues, including, compensation, benefits, rewards and recognition, vacation, misconduct, and any problem resolution
  • Maintain/update HR records and employee files in accordance with compliance laws, and policies provide organizational change information for charts and presentations
  • Global payroll administration and other departments, exercising the utmost discretion while working with highly confidential information
  • Administer and Manage Social Security
  • Manage and support in Travel & visa booking
 

Professional Competencies: 
·       Minimum 3 years of experience from working as a senior HR Officer preferably in IT sector.
·       Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities
·       Detail-oriented and organizational nature
·       Fluency in English, both written and verbal 
·      Exceptional communication skills, writing skills, interpersonal      
        skills, and ethical mindset
·      Competent in problem-solving and conflict resolution
·      Extensive knowledge of HR policies and systems
·      Familiarity with HRMS and working knowledge of MS Office
  • Strong knowledge in Jordanian labor law and Social Security
