Overview
The Website Channel Specialist will be an advocate for the Aventis Systems and Cortavo brands, and work with stakeholders, including product marketing, pricing teams, content marketing, and direct sales to define and execute a data-driven and performance optimized web user experience.
S/he will manage the channel’s vendors, including, developers, designers, digital marketing partners, and various consultants, including those for conversion rate optimization and lead generation/lead nurture. The Website Channel Specialist is ultimately responsible for lead generation and revenue quotas for the channel, and the ideal candidate will be motivated by performance-based compensation.
Strong project and vendor management skills are a must. Detail-oriented, analytical, and excellent written / verbal communication are required.
This position reports to the eCommerce Director.

Responsibilities
- Brand and Content Management
- Create compelling content strategy for AventisSystems.com and Cortavo.com websites
- Collaborate, proof, and post copy
- Ensure updated content always conveys brand values, value proposition, and product benefits
- Product and Pricing Management
- Products
- Collaborate on all product research, list management, data entry, and checkoff for categories, products, options, pricing, images, and copy
- Oversee the implementation of product listing strategies and make recommendations

- Collaborate on pricing listing strategies
- Oversee the implementation of short-term pricing adjustments
- Oversee the management of monthly / quarterly site-wide pricing updates
- Meet / exceed the Company’s profit margin goals

- Oversee the execution of quality assurance testing by internal employees and vendors
- Respond to all requests for product, pricing, code, and campaign defects
- Digital Marketing Management
- Manage all digital marketing efforts in order to achieve short and long-term traffic and conversion goals
- Optimize all digital content for search engines and maximize placement in search results
- Plan and execute A/B testing, personalization, and journeys optimization
- Oversee monthly spend and maintain budget amounts
- Build and maintain buyer personas and website journeys
- Vendor Management
- Build and maintain valuable relationships with agencies, developers, and vendors that advance the Company’s digital marketing initiatives
- Reporting and Analysis
- Perform detailed evaluation of digital marketing activity, and provide relative performance reporting
- Perform routine evaluation of product sales activity, and provide relative recommendations surrounding products and pricing
- Leverage the Company’s CRM tool and effectively integrate into channel plans and campaign tracking efforts
- Strategic Project Management
- Lead project management planning and execution for all approved strategic projects, including, design and development, tool implementation, integrations, and shopping cart replacement
- Identify, research, and present findings to eCommerce leadership regarding web design, development, tools, products, content, branding, or lead generation / revenue campaigns
- Consistently understand web strategy best practices, and keep a close eye on emerging technologies and trends
- Conduct market intelligence on online competitors
- Conduct market intelligence on the Company’s customers and prospects, their buying criteria and process
- Assist with Company-wide goal of database integration
- Support the eCommerce Director and serve as the internal subject matter expert for AventisSystems.com and Cortavo.com
Additional Responsibilities
- Provide recommendations for tool and process improvements
- Maintain ongoing and accurate updates to Department Google Drive Folders
- Maintain accurate records of Department expenses and annual budget
- Participate in Company or Departmental meetings and projects
- Understand and use communication theory, demographic and psychographic data, and the psychology of buying
- Understand our business, target market, products and services, unique point of difference, marketing materials, and business jargon
- Conduct market intelligence on current customers, prospects, industries, and the competitive landscape for marketing initiatives
- Attend ongoing product and job training including seminars, workshops, and conferences
Job Specifications
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing or Communications
- 3+ years proven experience in B2B marketing
- 3+ years of eCommerce store management experience
- 3+ years of digital marketing experience
- 3+ years of project management experience
- Strong passion for web content and user experience; excellent copywriting skills
- Strong editing skills and eye for detail, including ability to edit text into short and digestible modules
- Strong diverse digital marketing experience - social media, paid and organic search, mobile, video, and email - and capable of planning / tracking results
- Proficient with Google Fundamentals (AdWords, Analytics, Marketing Platform, Campaign Manager)
- High technology competency across platforms and ability to transform data into insights
- Must be comfortable enthusiastically presenting marketing campaigns to various audiences
- Polished level of interpersonal and verbal communication skills

- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
- High level of proficiency in Google Suite and / or Microsoft O365
