Technical Product owner

Role : Technical Product owner

Role:

As the liaison between the development team and customers, the product owner must collaborate closely with both groups to ensure there is a clear understanding of what features are needed in the product or application. Collaboration with customers, developers, and vendors, to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions with production grade capability and services s a key to the role.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with the research team to define the vision for mobile apps, and understand how the future of the product and its features could come to life. Then clearly and concisely articulate the vision for bringing it all to life via the product roadmap

• Perform market research and usage analysis to understand competitive landscape and define user stories

• Write market and product requirement documents

• Work closely with UX/UI graphic design teams, R&D, and customer facing team on requirements, review and design

• Leads sprint ceremonies, including sprint reviews, sprint planning, and backlog refinement

• Defines feature epics and writes user stories tied to each epic

• Provide solutions for new services and make recommendations to improve product quality, reliability, performance, and scalability

• Ability to continually learn, understand and apply new technologies

• Must possess excellent time management, organizational and prioritization skills

Skills:

• Product development mindset is needed

• Good understanding of working with REST APIs, SOAP APIs

• Software development experience in one or more general purpose programming languages

• Experience working in an Agile Team environment

• Experience with digital technologies including online, mobile, and tablet platforms

• Experience with mobile application development practices

• Ability to cultivate strong working relationships with a large extended project team and influence those around you

• Excellent communication, troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills

• Ability to analyze development, deployment and support processes critically, and to implement changes to improve them

• University degree in Computer Science or Information or equivalent combination of post-secondary education and practical experience in a relevant field will be considered

• Familiar with cloud computing services, tools and processes, particularly AWS

• Experience in managing product development, backlog planning and prioritization

• 8+ years of experience in product management, customer experience management, business analysis, software engineering

• Familiar with OAuth2.0, SAML

• Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
