Planned Tasks:
1. Upgrade from one version to another version in DEV, QA and PROD( Both NA and DIH ) .
a. Server building
b. Required database installation like Db2, Oracle, Teradata etc.,
c. NAS and Other filesystem mount
d. Required userid push( One of the time consuming task)
e. Scheduling tool installation
f. Informatica installation or upgrade
g. Co-ordination with Development team to test the already existing code in each environment after upgrade
2. Migration activities from one environment to another environment
3. User creation and approving the request on time
4. Connections creation ,Connection password update
5. Updating the database related variable files like odbc file,tnsnames,etc.,
6. OS patching and restart the server
7. Regular health checks by improving the server by creating the scripts like space cleanup, repository log purge, backup ,etc.,
8. Coordination with Informatica support team to understand any new product like DIH is introduced to the environment and getting license keys with complete KT from them and play around the product
9. Monitoring the operational insights in cloud by testing step by step
Adhoc tasks:
1. Fixing issues or assistance whenever the DEV team is required in all the three environments
2. Co-ordination with Informatica support team for any new kind of issues
3. Monitoring the long running jobs
4. Restart the server whenever is required to resolve the problems
5. Applying EBF
6. Mentoring the new joinees in the team and preparing the proper document
