Director, Demand Generation

Avaamo is scaling! We are hiring a new Director of Demand Generation based in our Los Altos HQ Office. Avaamo is experiencing explosive growth and looking for a dynamic Director of Demand Generation who possesses a unique blend of business ownership, marketing, and operations understanding, and will have a passion for data analysis, metrics, and understanding the emerging AI market. 

The Director of Demand Generation is responsible for the following:
 
  • Strategy and implementation of effective demand generation programs
  • Working closely on the GTM strategy/ lead funnel/ building pipeline and ABM program that meet the growth objectives of the company,
  • Strong focus on skills that support lead generation, pipeline creation, nurturing, lead scoring
  • Refining marketing programs that are targeting at Global 1000 companies.

  • Design, plan, and manage integrated demand generation campaigns that reach all identified personas to generate qualified pipeline.
  •  Improve strategy continuously by measuring performance and cost per acquisition; adjusting the channel mix and messages as necessary.
  • Oversee the team's match strategy, owning vendor choices and our plan for maintaining a clean and valuable contact database.
  • Drive marketing automation expertise across the business, with emphasis on lead nurturing, lead scoring, lead routing, and driving funnel stage improvements (MQL, SQL, Opportunities).
  • You own and actively monitor/ analyze inbound and outbound sales pipeline, program ROI, customer acquisition and penetration, contact acquisition and activity.
  • Drive marketing database strategy, including analyzing gaps in data, contact acquisition strategy, practices that ensure data quality and database health.

Your background likely includes:

  • 9+ years' experience in enterprise software marketing and demand generation.
  • Extensive experience and expertise with Pipeline building targeting Global 1000 companies and Marketing Automation Tools such as Marketo, Hubspot, etc.
  • Passionate about marketing best practices and emerging channels
  • Results-driven with powerful ability to analyze quantitative data to determine program effectiveness, ROI, forecasting
  • Proven track record of leading successful demand generation programs with a breadth of knowledge from marketing databases, segmentation, email execution, lead processes, reporting & analysis
  • College degree with a technical degree preferred, and experience in enterprise software buyers
  • Ability to work/build in a startup environment
