Manager - Analytics & Operations

About the role:
As a consumer facing marketplace, Autolist interacts with millions of unique consumers a month — and we’re growing rapidly.  We’re now looking to add a key member to the business side of our lean and talented team to help accelerate growth and drive better decision-making and insights. We’re looking for someone to optimize, build-out and ultimately take ownership over analytics at Autolist, primarily relating to business operations but touching other areas as well. Functioning as an overall driver of Autolist analytics, you’ll have the opportunity to improve the way we understand our users and products. You’ll help us drive better decisions relating to revenue and performance of partners, advertising, flagship Autolist products and newer ones as well. Your primary focus will be on the business and operations side, where you’ll be closely collaborating with business team to improve operational performance and revenue. But you’ll also work with product, engineering and data science to make us better understand user engagement and product success. Due to the uniquely wide-ranging nature of the role, you will get to learn about and influence all parts of the business.
What you’ll do:

You’ll be principally responsible for driving analytics and revenue for Autolist. Key activities include:
Managing the flow and quality of site performance and testing analytics across internal and external sources (like Google Analytics, Optimizely, etc.)
Building and managing analytical dashboards, Excel models, and SQL analysis for operational performance and revenue
Developing and owning the analytic frameworks for product engagement and monetization (tracking metrics like conversion rates and driving analyses like root cause and funnel analysis)
Drive decision-making related to partner prioritization and user acquisition
Collaborating with content marketing and email marketing to better use analytics to grow audience and engagement
Collaborating with engineering leadership to help drive the long-term development of our analytics and data architecture
Who You Are: 
You have a deep interest in analytics and business. You have awesome Excel skills, but also experience with database languages like SQL and scripting languages like Python. You have strong attention to detail and are passion about building out a company’s analytical capabilities. You’re scrappy and resourceful and like experimenting and testing things to make them better. You like working with different people across the organization to get amazing things done as a team. 
You’ve worked 2-4 years in a rigorously analytical role in business, finance or product. You are now looking to widen your skillset at a fast-growing tech startup where you’ll be an important part of future growth and work alongside a diverse and talented team.
