Job Description:
The Account Manager role is an inside sales role that is responsible for acquiring, growing and retaining customers across the US. Account Managers are tasked with managing relationships, educating customers on using the AuptiX application, explaining the value and benefits of using AuptiX Direct. They drive overall bookings and revenue from new customers as well as their set of retained customers.
Responsibilities:
- Convert Sales Qualified Leads through Sales Pipeline
- Achieve monthly bookings goals.
- Use a consultative sales approach to offer clients industry changing products/services to provide immediate and long term solutions to their problems.
- Deep understanding of clients needs, challenges, communication styles, roles, and key decision makers within each organization.
- Gather and validate, on an ongoing basis, an understanding of a customer’s revenue potential via Annual Freight Spend. A key responsibility will be to achieve maximum wallet share for each customer.
- Outbound calls to prospects/customers to build relationships and drive bookings. This includes an expectation of making 70-100 calls per day based on the book of business owned and leads in your Pipeline.
- Build trust and credibility with customers by consistently delivering superior account management.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders involved in moving a customer’s freight.
- Be knowledgeable on every aspect of the customer’s experience including understanding operations and fulfillment needs.
- Track account information, emails, communication, status, and AuptiX systems.

- Ability and desire to make cold, prospecting calls over the phone. Prospecting via email is not enough for this role.
