Administrative Assistant (General) 
 
Atlantic Staffing Consultants is seeking an organized and experienced Administrative Assistant to manage the office for one of our clients in the greater Raleigh area.  The ability to multi-task and prioritize, while maintaining complex schedules and managing administrative support, is essential in this position. The ideal candidate for this job is resourceful and a good problem solver. 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES 

  •  Answer phones with courtesy and professionalism 
  •  Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports 
  •  Develop and maintain a filing system 
  •  Handle administrative requests and queries from office staff 
  •  Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers 
  •  Organize and schedule appointments and meetings 
  •  Provide outstanding front office customer service 
  •  Scan, photocopy, fax documents 
  •  Update and maintain office policies and procedures 
  •  Write and distribute email, letters, faxes and forms 
  •  Perform all other duties as assigned 

QUALIFICATIONS 
 
  • High school diploma or GED 
  • 6+ months of previous experience as an administrative assistant 
  • Ability to analyze and revise operating practices to improve efficiency 
  • Good interpersonal skills and a great team player 
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Technologically savvy and open to learn new systems
