In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers both in-person and over the phone for their supply needs. In addition, the Counter Salesperson is expected to develop an understanding of each customer's needs by guiding them through the warehouse and assuring that all their supplies accounted for and loaded into their vehicle. A sharp and motivated individual who is able to learn quickly and is skilled at customer service/sales would be ideal for the role.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Meet and assist the customer in a courteous and professional manner providing them with the information they need.
- Ensure that incoming inventory is stocked in the correct location.
- Maintain the department in a clean and organized manner.
- Accurately price parts and accessories using the proper pricing source and keep the computer system up to date.
- Informing customers of any current specials.
- Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the company’s values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and vendors.
Qualifications
Requirements (include but are not limited to):
- Two or more year’s related experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Professional appearance and work ethic.
- Ability to work well in a process driven environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver license in the state that you will work and a good driving record.
