Project Manager II - Remote /Homebased

Atlantic Research Group, a niche CRO specializing in orphan, rare and personalized drug development, is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join the US team.  The Project Manager II (PM II) will manage overall operations for assigned clinical trial(s)/projects including timelines, budgets (as appropriate), resources, vendors, and key project deliverables in compliance with the client scope of work, SOPs, project plans, applicable regulatory requirements and ICH/GCP guidelines.   For assigned projects, they will act as the primary contact point for clients and the Business Development team.  The PM II is also responsible for facilitating a positive client relationship and conflict resolution.  They will manage day-to-day project activities, review all project related expenses and invoices, provide guidance to the assigned cross functional team, and generate status/summary project reports as needed.  The PM II may travel for client meetings, investigator meetings and co-monitoring visits, and perform other tasks based on business needs.

Preferred Education and Experience:
-Bachelor’s degree 
-Minimum 5 years experience as a clinical research professional
-Minimum 3 years experience in clinical project management role at a CRO
-Experience in oncology is preferred
-Clinical Research Certification and or Project Management Certification is a plus

Skills:
-Demonstrated independent problem solving, conflict resolution, judgement and decision-making skills
-Excellent information technology (e.g. computer proficiency), oral/presentation and written communication skills
-Proficient organizational, negotiation and leadership skills
-Excellent customer service skills
-Current and working knowledge of applicable regulations, ICH GCP, and applicable SOPs
-Thorough understanding of medical terminology, and human physiology (willingness to review and learn indications as background for each clinical study)
-Possess good interpersonal skills, self-motivated and retains a positive attitude
- Successfully deliver projects within established timelines and budget in a cross-functional team environment
-Ability to travel internationally
