Swiss Machine Programmer

   The primary role of the Swiss Machine Programmer is to develop new or improve existing programs to produce parts per customer expectations.
 Duties/Functions:   Program Swiss machines using CAD/CAM ·         Communicate clearly with Set Up personnel to establish a highly efficient setup and stable production.
·         Identify tooling that will be needed for production. ·         Blueprint reading and understanding.
·         Create tooling sheets
·         Keep work area clean and organized
·         Effectively manage programming backlog to keep ahead of production ·
Perform other duties as required/assigned
  Qualifications:
·         CAD/CAM proficiency
·         Ability to use and understand measurement gauges/systems (Micrometers, Calipers, Indicators, and Vision systems etc.) ·         Understand Swiss machining processes
·         Minimum of three years’ programming experience

·         Excellent organizational and communications skills 
·         Ability to work independently and as part of a team
