PROJECT MANAGER
The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the efficient and effective implementation and management of all Project activities. PM must work with the team designated in its
implementation. The leadership, capacity and knowledge of the PM will be essential to
achieve success in the execution of the project and customer satisfaction. The PM must
have a mix of knowledge, experience and soft skills with vision of goals and achievement of
the objectives.
The following activities are fundamental to achieve the execution of the work of the PM:
General Activities:
Define the objectives of the project: to be clear and achievable.
Know the restrictions of the project.
Prepare the project execution activities schedule (Timeline).
Prepare a procurement and purchasing plan according to the project strategy.
Prepare the project risk mitigation plan.
Elaborate and effectively implement communication matrices and project
responsibilities
Manage Project time & cost control.
Manage project quality according to defined performance standards.
Properly manage the project's triple constraint (scope, cost and time).
Manage the deadlines to complete the project on time.
Manage communications.
Inform all project stakeholders about progress or delays.
Guide and / or delegate your team, exercising the necessary supervision.
Realize follow-up meetings with contractors and consultants, making sure that the
commitments established in these meetings are met in time, cost and scope.
Carry out the operation meetings with the client with the agreed frequency and follow
up promptly and effectively what was agreed with the client in these meetings.
Prepare weekly reports to the client (or with the agreed frequency)
Manage the tools, methods, metrics and project master schedules
Manage problems and project changes orders.
Use the tool (MPS) Management Pro System of CVG Construction Management for
project management, according to the requirements established for project
management.
Keep the MPS information updated.
