Western Region Sales Leader

Be our next Western Region Sales Leader in a fast-growing niche business.  Selling across multiple industries will keep your interests high.  Having a technical mindset who can be an immediate asset to our team and will make your learning curve easy.  At AES we are client-focused, so we rely on our great team members to use personal experience and good judgment to meet the needs of customers, develop plans and achieve goals.  You will be responsible for lead productivity, sales, high-quality customer relationships, and profitability through the implementation of effective sales methods and strategies.

Successful candidate will:
  • Visit existing and potential accounts in the territory; establishing and maintaining a great rapport with customers
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotes and recommend products based on clients’ needs
  • Identify prospective clients for sales and service
  • Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales
  • Answer questions about products, prices, availability, product use, and service terms
  • Adept at using a CRM to keep track of customers and all account activity
  • Our West region, particularly Bay Area, is growing so you will need to be able to thrive in a fast-paced demanding environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry work experience
  • Technical or engineering mindset is helpful
  • Proven track record in building and managing client accounts and sales 
  • Organized in a fast-paced, multi-task environment 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. High level of computer literacy.
  • A great positive attitude and work ethic is essential
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and needs of the organization
  • Google Suite for business
  • Ability to work independently, exercise good judgment, organize and prioritize
  • Occasional travel within sales territory and Boston-area headquarters.
