The Position

Our Director of Sales and Marketing will be responsible for kick starting our sales and marketing organizations within Arkatechture. They will be highly creative and intelligent, and will be able to identify and articulate the value add of Arkatechture products and services to organizations. They will be able to leverage all manners of communication to reach potential users and purchasing decision makers. Our Director of Sales and Marketing will integrate members of the Arkatechture team ranging from our CEO to Sales Engineers in order to deliver a valuable sales experience for prospects. They will be responsible for establishing a lean and efficient sales cycle, as well as assisting in streamlining the sales to delivery handoff with members of the delivery team. They will be responsible for overseeing, evaluating, and monitoring sales of competitor products, and recommending product positioning and strategy to produce the highest long-term market share.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and own Arkatechture’s lean and efficient sales cycle
  • Lead demos and pitches to a range of audiences from analysts to executives
  • Assist in streamlining sales to delivery handoff
  • Represent Arkatechture in a positive and friendly manner
  • Strategically build, manage, and close deals in sales pipeline
  • Oversees and evaluates market research and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions
  • Monitors competitor products, sales and marketing activities
  • Develops and recommends product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share
  • Be responsible for closing a quota of new business
  • Lead strategy for marketing team and create inbound marketing materials
  • Develops and manages sales/marketing operating budgets

  • Proven track record of leadership and teamwork
  • Proficient with GSuite and Hubspot (or similar CRM)
  • Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in selling Financial Services products
  • Experience in product sales and consultative approach to solutions selling
  • Work experience in a small, fast-paced environment
  • Sales process documentation and implementation
  • Experience in building out successful and sustainable sales and marketing organizations
