Strategic Partnerships Manager - Remote Position

What we’re looking for:
Arable’s Strategic Partnerships Manager is a passionate, goal-oriented member of the company’s Strategic Partnership Program.  Using a working knowledge of precision agriculture, enterprise account development and strong “skinning” skills, the candidate will manage the sales strategy, map and manage player engagement and drive the agenda through the sale and launch.  Responsible for the success of some of the company’s most important client programs,  the candidate will be a natural leader, problem solver and negotiator with technical aptitude and strong interpersonal skills.

  • Helping farmers in India and China through improved insights into crop development
  • Giving produce growers in California the tools to optimize production with less waste
  • Helping irrigated farmers in Nebraska manage water more efficiently and sustainably to protect our water supply
 

What you will do:
  • Define, document and drive the strategic sales plan to close within select enterprise and partner relationships
  • Map and manage the inclusion of key enterprise personnel to secure appropriate internal support to both close the opportunity and support the program’s ongoing success
  • Utilize a deepening understanding of the agricultural industry and the current marketplace for digital ag products and our technology to deliver maximum value to our customers
  • Organize efficient engagement with product management and engineering to support the account development agenda and the company’s broader roadmap effort
  • Support the overall team effort to prioritize and execute on the company’s revenue objectives
  • Create and maintain forecast against plan and diligently document key activities, sales stage and circumstances to support the expected plan outcome


What you bring: 
  • 5+ years experience in strategic/enterprise sales or program/product management experience, preferably in the field of digital or precision agriculture 
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in agronomy, economics or natural sciences, with an interest in agriculture and community development 
  • A strong track record of enterprise account development is desirable
  • Excellent organization, writing and presentation skills a must
  • Successful startup experience desirable
  • Multilingual candidates preferred
  • Travel requirement ~40%
