APPrise Mobile is an enterprise mobile SaaS company, and our product, theEMPLOYEEapp, is used by our client companies to communicate with and drive engagement with their employees, the vast majority of who do not use desktop computers as part of their work.  Believe it or not, there are 2.4 billion “deskless workers” in the global workforce and, up until now, technologies have not catered to them. However, because of the proliferation of mobile technology, this is no longer the case.

APPrise Mobile is leading the way in defining this new category of  communications technology for the deskless worker. We were recently selected as a “Cool Vendor” in the digital workplace by Gartner and are selling theEMPLOYEEapp software to the enterprise. Our clients include Toyota North America, Chipotle, Catholic Health Initiatives (the largest hospital system in the U.S.), and Caesars Entertainment.

We are looking for an energetic and driven Product Manager to join our growing team. This position will report directly to the SVP Engineering in our NYC office!

As a Product Manager you will be responsible for refining and championing a product strategy, owning a product roadmap, defining and testing individual requirements, and working with the engineering team to deliver against defined criteria. This is a cross-functional role, working with engineering, client success, sales, marketing, senior leadership, and external audiences.


What you’ll do

  • Work closely with a team of skilled engineers, designers, and leadership team to continually refine and test the  vision for theEMPLOYEEapp platform
  • Help set the long-term vision of how theEMPLOYEEapp will solve the problem our clients face on a daily basis
  • Lead the full product lifecycle through research, discovery, experimentation and delivery.
  • Facilitate communication throughout the development process between a variety of internal teams as well as customer-facing teams
  • Use market analysis, stakeholder understanding, usability testing, client feedback, and product management collaboration to define new features/functionality
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and then work with the engineering team to get it built and launched
  • Organize regular strategic internal business reviews, including management by objectives
  • Inspire and catalyze squads and stakeholders around the direction you set to bring new products to life for our stakeholders.
  • Serve as a product evangelist within APPrise Mobile and help everyone understand the vision, roadmap, and best practices

Who you are

  • You have 5-7 years relevant work experience, with at least 3-5 years experience managing and developing well-loved software products as a Product Manager. You’ve had many experiences defining product roadmaps, building collaboratively with design and engineering peers.
  • You have experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Experienced in defining and driving product strategy as a product manager
  • You are an excellent communicator and storyteller, communicating concepts and ideas to engineers and stakeholders at all levels, in different shapes depending on the context
  • Experience of building products with User Interfaces together with UX specialist and designers.
  • You know how to inspire, motivate and support a team to get things done
  • You know how to influence decision-making at all levels within an organisation and in a variety of contexts
  • You are knowledgeable of trends in the tech industry, particularly Software-as-a-Service, including experience with translating trends and needs into compelling strategies and highly usable products
