This position is responsible for acquiring and analyzing financial information generated in Tyson's Purchasing, Operations and Accounting business processes. This position will support various senior procurement analysts who support the Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) function.
Responsibilities include: assembling and facilitating quarterly budget guidance, with a focus on spend analysis reporting related to all assigned Purchasing Projects and insuring that historical spend reports are complete and accurate. Additional responsibilities could include providing competitive analysis, risk analysis, financial impacts evaluations for various business units, and developing presentations for the various business units throughout the enterprise.
This position requires a high level of independent and critical thinking, and correctly interpreting statistical information. Position will complete in-depth analysis on reports and interpret results; create and coordinate the tracking and compiling of key purchasing metrics and spend research.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or other equivalent Mathematical focused educational program.
Experience: 3+ years' experience in IT, financial or purchasing analytics; knowledge of financial accounting; knowledge of SAP reporting.
Computer Skills: Advanced computer skills required especially in Excel and Access.
Special Skills: Requires use of advance mathematical formulas and calculations to analyze complex financial and/or statistical information. Accuracy, intuitiveness, knowledge of financial and accounting principles is required.
