Job Description:
***Contractor will support a variety of different events (ex. table top events, 10x10 booth events) for different solutions within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure - around 100 events per year***
***Responsible for project management/maintaining calendars, opening purchase requests, managing contract process for new events, event execution, ordering and shipping of marketing materials, sending out internal logistics to staff, managing budget and reporting for shows, etc.***
***Must haves: Ability to work under pressures, multi-tasking, and the ability to be resourceful***
The Events Specialist contractor will support the day-to-day development and execution of 3rd party sponsored events. This role requires interaction and communication with vendors, partners, senior leaders and employees across the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Plan, organize, promote, facilitate and coordinate different types of owned and 3rd-party trade shows and events
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the event vendors including hotels, catering, staffing personnel as well as subcontractors
• Management and coordination of the contract review and PO request processes
• Manage internal swag inventory site and maintenance for reorders
• Tracks lead flow to ensure the appropriate Sales channels are following up with event attendees and campaign responders in a timely manner.
• Creates and manages program budget, measures ROI through metrics analysis and reporting.
• Proven track record executing multi-faceted event programs.
• Excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal skills, and ability to work on far-flung virtual teams.
• Moderate technical and strategic understanding of Technology, Applications, and Industry solutions being marketed.
• Attention to detail and discipline to follow established policies and processes from event design to execution to lead flow.

• Proficient in MS Office
• Ability to produce accurate and high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills
