Internship
Position Overview
The Internship opportunity is aimed at attracting the potential college talent pool for employment at Siemens. It also will allow college students to gain understanding of Siemens’ business, employment and career growth opportunities. The position will participate in the everyday activities of the quality department according to the candidate’s ability and training. The intern will be exposed to various aspects of the Digital Service Quality Management System including process, regulatory affairs, product risk management, cyber security and IT related activities for digital health software.
Responsibilities
The Intern will participate in process related activities of Digital Services Quality Management System. Specific activities include:
• Assist in managing regulatory affairs documentation and product data base
• Assist in monitoring changes to regulations and standards
• Assist in process related activities with a focus on product risk and cyber security
• Assist in “Lean” initiatives for quality relevant processes
• Conduct and report data analysis
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
• Minimum of one year of college education with a minimum GPA of 3.0
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
• Good verbal communication and written skills
• Good organizations skills, analytical skills, and initiative
Preferred Knowledge
• Have some knowledge of database management
• Have some awareness of medical device products
• Have some awareness of medical device standards and regulations (FDA QSR, ISO 13485, CMDR, ISO 14971, MDR)
