Description:
As a Security Vulnerability Specialist, you will work with a team of professionals in identifying infrastructure, software and configuration security vulnerabilities within the Philips Healthcare organization. You will work provide information and guidance to the Philips IT and business communities so that these risks can be eliminated under an ambitious timeline. Most of these risks have been pre-identified by Philips’ Security Rating Services (SRS) platform Bitsight, and the categories of vulnerabilities include: 
• Compromised Systems (malware/adware/spyware/botnet infections) 
• Open Ports (e.g. Telnet, unsecured FTP, SMTP) 
• SSL Configuration anomalies (e.g. old SSL and unsupported TLS) 
• SSL Certificates (expired, self-signed, etc.) 
• Unsecure web application headers 

The Security Vulnerability specialist will work Philip’s Security Operations, Threat Intelligence, and other select Group Security teams. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 
• Learn, navigate and understand the Bitsight SRS platform 
• Professionally communicate and educate the IT and business communities on 
o The type of vulnerability identified 
o Why it poses a risk to Philips 
o Suggested methods of remediation 
• Set firm expectations on a remediation schedule, with the backing of the Philips CISO 
• Participate in a weekly “daily management” meeting and provide progress updates 
• Quickly escalate to your supervisor obstacles or push-back 
• Drive work efforts on an ambitious schedule through year-end 2018 
• Not only accept, but also provide coaching and guidance to team members as necessary 
Qualifications 
Knowledge and Skills Requirements: 

• Degree at university level 
• English language skills - excellent written and verbal communication 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
• 5+ years of experience in an IT role, ideally within a digital services environment 
• 3+ years of project delivery and client relationship management in a technology environment 
• Penetration Testing and Vulnerability Management experience preferred 
• Proven track record of driving operational excellence and improving processes 
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel 
• Security Ratings Services experience (e.g. Bitsight, SecurityScorecard) desirable but not compulsory 
• Embracing tenets of Philips’ culture i.e. “team up to win” and “take ownership to deliver fast” is required
